In our last post we were explaining the sublimation printing option and today we want to introduce you with the digital printing on natural hemp blends.
For materials made of cellulosic fibers the printing technology used is one of the pigment dyes:
- The pigment printing method is simple to apply because the pigment is fixed on the material with the help of hot air and the material does not need to be washed after this process.
- Pigment dye only forms a bond with the surface layer of the material, does not form any chemical bonds with the fiber itself.
- Notwithstanding that, the material printed with pigment dyes has good washing resistance, very good light resistance, good abrasion resistance.
